Morning Glory is a really attractive vine that flourishes in Mexico and South America. The flowers can range in color from deep purple to white, red or even blue. The flowers are trumpet in shape and can be as wide as 4 inches. The seeds are small, black and elongate in shape.

Oaxaca, a city in southern Mexico, is well known for using the seeds of Morning Glory in a variety of rituals. Morning Glory seeds are used for hallucinations (both in religious setting and recreational setting), as well as for curing and medicinal purposes. The seeds are sometimes referred to as Piule by the Chinantec and Mazatec Indians.
