Justicia of the Acanthus Family

justicia-pectoralis

Aka Justicia pectoralis

Location: Central America, South America

Justicia is a small plant with narrow, triangular, pointy leaves that measure approximately 1-2 inches in length. Usually the entire plant itself only reaches a maximum height of about a foot. There are purple or white spotted flowers which are tiny and hard to spot, measuring only a quarter of an inch in length, and fruit about the same size by diameter.

Justicia is widely unknown and little research has been done on the plant, however, it has been proven that the leaves contain DMT tryptamines. Additionally, the herb (when dry) possesses coumarin.
