Complete Lexicon on Psychoactive and Psychedelic Plants

A full psychoactive plant lexicon should include all the basic understandings necessary for every hallucinogenic plant. This means basic descriptions, dosage (dosing) requirements, and a list of potential expected effects. It also means listing the geographical locations of the psychoactive plants. Although there is a ridiculous amount of proposed potential psychoactive and hallucinogenic plants, this plant lexicon will contain those plants documented in cultural or scientific ways to have hallucinogenic or psychoactive effects of some kind. There is a greater emphasis on the plants which have more literature and factual basis for their psychoactive properties. Those plants which have lab reports or other types of charts, will be noted.

Hallucinogens and psychoactive plants are not easy to understand, especially for someone who is new to the topic. This plant lexicon is meant to provide a guide into the world of psychedelics and hallucinogens…a pathway to understanding some of the effects and stories surrounding the world’s most interesting plants. Some stories may be fictitious, others may be elaborate embellishments, however, many of the stories surrounding hallucinogens are true. More closely reviewing some of the knowledge, lab data, history of use, current cultural use, and stories surrounding psychoactive plants can help de-shroud the stigma and reveal a very real world existing beyond reality!

Of all of the psychoactive plants out there, some are addictive, narcotic, and/or intoxicating. The plants have been arranged in categories based upon their geographical location, as well as being listed in the lexicon itself. You will find brief information about each plant, visible characteristics, and sometimes historical, ethnological and chemical information.
