Galbulimima F. M. Bailey
Aka Galbulimima belgraveana
Location: Asia, Australia
The Galbulimima tree is not a particularly pretty tree, growing with a gray like bark that is quite scaly and thin. The leaves are bland, oval-shaped in a glossy green color. It is, however, an aromatic plant, smelling quite good and it can grow up to 90 feet tall!
Many people, especially those in Papua New Guinea, boil the bark and leaves in order to create a drink that is both intoxicating and sedating. It is used to create deep, peaceful sleep that promotes extremely vivid lucid dreams and visions.
