Typically Cannabis plants can grow in versatile situations, as they are indeed still weeds. They are tall, lanky, yet usually robust and strongly erect plants that can reach heights up to 18 feet. They sprout many leaves which protect flowering buds filled with seeds and THC. The seeds are typically discarded, used to grow more plants, or used in an extraction process that produces an oil. The buds, however, are dried and become the herb that is so heavily sought after.
Marijuana (Cannabis) is one of the most widely known and used drugs in the world. The herb is traditionally used for both medicinal and recreational purposes. It can be smoked, vaporized, or turned into an oil for consumption. There are even patches and lotions which release the most active psychoactive alkaloid, THC, straight through the skin!
Different species of Cannabis produce different effects. Different strains of the various species, also produce a range of effects.
