Lion’s Tail is a small shrub that produces orange flowers which are well known by the Bush people and the Hottentots to provide a variety of narcotic effects. Whether, chewed, smoked or consumed as a drink, Wild Dagga (sometimes called Dacha) can provide effects similar to Tobacco, Cannabis, Datura or even hallucinations. Sometimes it is compared to (and even confused with) Sceletium tortuosum. The leaves or an extracted resin can be consumed directly, vaporized or mixed with tobacco and smoked.
